Greene Trails Cycling Classic: Thursday to Sunday July 16 - 19, 2009: The Greene Trails Cycling Classic is designed to be a fun, family-oriented "happening." It is a multi-day event centered in Xenia, Ohio, showcasing the extensive rail-to-trail system that exists there - and beyond, as well as the communities along the trails. 12th XOBA: Across Ohio Bicycle Adventure, The ice cream Tour Saturday to Saturday, July 25 to August 1st, 2009. A week-long getaway featuring stops at unique ice cream shops. Mad Anthony River Rally, Sat. August 1, 2009, Perrysburg, OH. 10,15, 31,62, 80 and 100 mile routes. Enjoy the flat countryside of northwest Ohio (with a few rolling hills on the longer routes.) Registration 7:00 a.m. Morning Glory Ride (Cincinnati, Ohio): Sunday August 2, 2009 - 4:30 am or 5:30 am start times. An annual early morning bicycle ride that takes you on a sunrise tour of Cincinnati's beautiful neighborhoods and parks, then caps it off with breakfast by the Ohio River. Ride, for Pete's Sake, on August 15, 2009!!! The 8th annual Pedal-With-Pete charity bike ride will start between 7:15 and 9:00 a.m. at Hilliard Heritage Middle School in Hilliard, Ohio to help raise money for Cerebral Palsy research. Enjoy a great bike ride with distances between 7 and 100 miles and plenty of good food and fun. Sponsored by the Pedal-With-Pete Foundation. Pre-registration cost is $25 and day of ride registration is $30.
