The 2012 Hot Tamale Tour will be on Saturday, June 2 at 8 am.

The 2011 HOT Tamale Bicycle Tour was a wonderful success, with 530 riders and over $3,000 raised for the Marion Tallgrass Trail.

The 50-50 raffle for the Marion Tallgrass Trail at registration raised $180 for the trail.

Recreational Trail Update! (5/15/11) The Marion Tallgrass Trail is now cleared for hiking and mountain biking for 3 miles. Two railroad bridges in the first mile have been converted for trail use, and about 1/4 mile has been paved. We've applied for a grant to extend the paved trail to a distance of 1.7 miles, and are working hard to raise our $94,000 local match for this project. As of now, we have about $54,000 of this $94,000.
