Greene Trails Cycling Classic Thursday-Sunday, July 15 to 18, 2010 :A family-
oriented cycling event designed to showcase the nationally recognized and award
-winning rails to trails system in Greene County, Ohio. Each day's ride begins
and ends at the campground allowing cyclists to ride at their desired pace and
number of miles. Cyclists will enjoy the many different communities along the
trails, evening entertainment including meals and other amenities like massages, park
tours and more.

 

Scoops 4 Stephanie: Waldo, Ohio, Saturday, July 24. Visit dairy bars in small towns
and explore quiet farm roads, while raising money for the Stephanie Lust scholarship
fund. Distances of 10, 20, 30, and 40 miles.

Marion Wheels For Meals 2010: Saturday, July 24; Starts at Salvation Army in downtown Marion, and benefits the Salvation Army. Each dollar provides a meal to a neighbor in need. Distances are 6, 18, and 30 miles.

ACROSS OHIO BICYCLE ADVENTURE 7/24 to 7/31. East Liverpool. This
year
's river to river romp will travel from East Liverpool, where the Ohio River
leaves Pennsylvania to the Cincinnati area, skirting the edge of the southeastern hills.
Average 60 flat to hilly miles per day with a couple of century options thrown in who
want more miles or more hills.
Rider Limit: 250. Entry Deadline: June 19.

Mad Anthony River Rally: Saturday Aug. 7, 2010 in Perrysburg OH. Routes
of 10,15,31, 64, 80, and 100 miles. The longer routes encounter a few rolling
hills. Breakfast is provided to all riders, lunch to those 64 mi. and over. A

Tour De Wine Randolph County, Winchester, Indiana Sat, Sept 18: Enjoy a
countryside Bike tour while exploring small historic towns of Randolph County and
visiting an award winning Wilson Winery. Rest stops with light refreshments will be
provided for the 32 mile route and lunch will be provided for 64 mile route. Riders
have the option to purchase wine and it will be delivered to the finish line ready to
take home. Please have registrations in no later than Sept. 2nd to be guaranteed
a t-shirt.
